Land of Fans and Music 4, often abbreviated to LoFaM 4 or LOFAM 4, is an album released on September 9, 2017. It contains 105 tracks split across 3 discs, with each Disc containing 35 songs.
Land of Fans and Music 4 was first discussed in detail on 14 August 2015 in a post by Lambda on the now-defunct MSPA Forums. Initially, the album was to populated through the nomination process that was used in prior LOFAMs; it later transitioned to accepting submissions.
A judging panel of 7-10 individuals was assembled to ensure that all entries were of a quality level befitting the album. Of over 250 entries, a final 105 were shortlisted to be included on the eventual album, including tracks by the Homestuck Music Team member Thomas "EidolonOrpheus" Ferkol and other musicians who feature in official albums such as Marcy "Shadolith" Nabors, Jamie Paige Stanley, and David "A Lunatic's Daydream" Ellis.
