Homestuck Vol. 8 is the sixteenth official album released on the Homestuck Bandcamp, and the eighth installment in the Homestuck Volumes. Vol. 8 was released on October 25, 2011 on the End of Act 5, which concluded in a colossal animation page known as "Cascade". Vol. 8 thus encapsulates the tone and atmosphere of Homestuck immediately preceding and on the End of Act 5, continuing the dark and serious compositions found in Homestuck. Vol. 7. A significant effort on the part of the Homestuck music team, Vol. 8 features a very large amount of high-quality songs spanning a variety of styles and includes the widest array of musicians on any album before it.

Trivia[]
- In first copies of Homestuck Vol. 8, a 42nd track was included titled "null". At merely eight seconds long, it appeared to be entirely silence; however, when amplified and reversed, it was revealed to actually be a snippet of the current WIP of Toby "Radiation" Fox's infamous song, "Penumbra Phantasm". As of yet, the song still has not been officially released.
